Mary KIRK was born in Clive 5 February 1841.  Mary was born at one o'clock pm.  The birth was registered on 6th February 1841 by the her Farther, Thomas.  Mary died 1883 Sandbach/Congleton, at 42 years of age.

She married Thomas POOLE at St Leonards, Warmingham, 30 December 1872.  At the time of their marriage Thomas was of full age, a bachelor living at Moston.  Mary was also of full age, a spinster living at Tetton.  The witnesses were Thomas MORRIS & Sarah KIRK.  Thomas Poole was born Moston 1841 the son of Thomas POOLE and Sarah BROWN. 

At the time of the 1861 census Mary was working as a 'Dairymaid' on the 'Farm near Canal Bridge'  in Stanthorne.

At the time of the 1871 census Mary (30) was working as a 'Dairy Maid' at Owler Hall, Tattenhall Lane, Tattenhall.

At the time of the 1881 census Thomas (40) is living at Tetton Cottages, off Booth Lane, Middlewich together with his wife Mary (40) and their children Charles (5) and Eli (1).   Thomas gave his occupation as 'Farm Labourer'.

Mary KIRK and Thomas POOLE had the following children:

Esther M. POOLE was born Wharton, Cheshire 1874.

Charles POOLE was born Tetton, Cheshire 1876.

Eli POOLE was born Tetton, Cheshire 1880.

Jacob  POOLE was born Tetton, Cheshire 1883.  At the time of the 1891 census Charles (15) was living at Tetton Hall emplyed as a 'Farm Labourer'.
